San Diego zoo sends rare black rhino to private PA in Tanzania for breeding program

An eastern black rhino born at the San Diego Zoo has been donated to Tanzania as part of an ongoing effort to save the species from extinction.

The eight-year-old rhino will be acclimated to the wild in a private concession that works with the Tanzanian national wildlife agency.
