Proceedings of the GWS Conferences

on Parks, Protected Areas &

Cultural Sites

In 1982 the Society began hosting a series of conferences which became the USA's leading recurring professional forum on protected area issues.  For most of these conferences a proceedings  volume has been published.  Prior to the 2001 conference, the proceedings have not been digitized and are currently out of print.  Beginning with the 2001 conference, proceedings are also available as free PDF downloads.
