Italy | Country's first known coral reef discovered in Adriatic Sea; will become MPA

Scientists have discovered Italy’s first known coral reef, splashed with colour and teeming with marine life.

In a new study published this month in the journal Scientific Reports, researchers from the University of Bari Aldo Moro have chronicled the discovery of the “unique” reef.
