30 new segments added to National Trails System, extending it by over 1200 miles

The recent addition of 30 segments in 25 states boosts the National Trails System by more than 1,275 miles.

Interior Secretary David L. Bernhardt announced the additions during a stop at Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada, where he designated 76 miles of the Colorado River within the NRA a national water trail.
