Trump pick for key park oversight post has both USNPS and energy company experience

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Trump announced on Friday that he plans to nominate Robert Wallace of Wyoming as an Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife in the Department of Interior.


Wallace is from Evanston, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in petroleum engineering. After graduating, Wallace became a ranger from Grand Teton National Park and was eventually appointed as assistant director of the National Park Service in Washington, D.C.
