BANGKOK (Bernama) – A senior administrative official has been arrested alongside 10 others on charges of slaying a bearcat at a national park in western Thailand, according to Xinhua news agency.
Authorities arrested the administrative official on Sunday, identified as Watcharachai Sameerak, and his friends, including two local defence volunteers, on charges of illegally poaching and killing the bearcat.
