Removal of 4 dams on Klamath River gets key federal go-ahead

The removal of four Klamath River dams, something that’s been talked about for years, has moved closer to being a reality.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) gave its final approval Thursday, Nov. 17, for a plan to remove the four Klamath River dams in California and Oregon.
