New Zealand | Conservationists sue to stop helicopter flights over Paparoa NP

Forest & Bird and Federated Mountain Clubs are taking court action to prevent helicopters landing in the West Coast's Paparoa National Park.

The Department of Conservation (DOC) allowed for helicopter landings in the park’s management plan, which was approved by the New Zealand Conservation Authority in 2017.
