Netherlands | Director of Hoge Veluwe NP doesn’t want wolves there; asks protections be lifted

The director of the Hoge Veluwe national park wants wolves to be removed from the protected species list so numbers can be controlled, local paper the Gelderlander reports.


In an interview with the paper, Seger Emmanuel baron van Voorst tot Voorst said wolf supporters have ‘kidnapped’ the discussion and are ignorant as to the consequences because ‘they have no land themselves.’
