Management of historic sites associated with author Willa Cather to be handed off to foundation

RED CLOUD — Ownership is returning home for thousands of documents and artifacts and six historical sites related to author Willa Cather.

The Willa Cather State Historical Site — composed of six historical properties — and the Willa Cather Pioneer Memorial Collection — including thousands of documents and archives from Cather’s life — are being transferred from History Nebraska to The Willa Cather Foundation in Red Cloud.
