Local officials prepare for possible designation of Kentucky battlefield as NP unit

The effort to designate Mill Springs Battlefield as part of the National Park Service (NPS) will be moving into the courtroom.

But according to County Attorney Martin Hatfield, the case that Pulaski County Fiscal Court authorized him to file on Tuesday is very much "a friendly lawsuit."
