An Italian real estate company has restarted a process to develop its land outside the Grand Canyon's South Rim.
Stilo Development Group USA and the town of Tusayan are asking the U.S. Forest Service for permission to improve forest roads and run utility lines to their property. The Forest Service previously said the development would "substantially and adversely" affect the Grand Canyon and nearby tribal lands.
