India | To save rhinos from drowning in monsoons, more artificial hillocks planned for Kaziranga NP

GUWAHATI: The Assam forest department will be building more artificial hillocks within Kaziranga NP to allow rhinos a safe haven during the annual monsoons, which flood the park and can cause these rare and valued animals to drown.
