A rodent poison killed one of two mountain lions found dead in Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, and could have played a role in the second cat's death, according to park wildlife biologists.

Anticoagulant rodenticide poisoning was determined to be the cause of death of a healthy six-year-old male known as P-30.
