Endangered California condors spotted in Sequoia-Kings Canyon NPs for first time since 1970s

SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS, Calif., (News 4 & Fox 11) — The recently reintroduced endangered California condors continue to reoccupy parts of their historic range, including the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California and adjacent foothills.


According to the National Park Service, Condors were seen atop Moro Rock, a popular hiking destination in Sequoia National Park, in late May.
