Auburn Valley SP becomes Delaware’s 17th; includes mansion, steam-car museum

YORKLYN, Del.- Delawareans now have a 17th state park to visit in the First State.


On Friday, Governor John Carney, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Secretary Shawn Garvin, Senator Tom Carper and others dedicated the new Auburn Valley State Park in Yorklyn. The park was previously the Auburn Heights Preserve.
