Arizona SP director, deputy fired over archaeological site destruction


Embattled Arizona state Parks Director Sue Black was fired Friday following numerous complaints, including the bulldozing of potential archaeological sites to rush development of cabins and other improvements.

Gov. Doug Ducey announced in a news release that Black and deputy director Jim Keegan were departing Arizona State Parks and Trails effective immediately.
