Register

Registration will open on May 15

The workshop registration form will be at the bottom of this page starting May 15. Note that current GWS members will get a $100 discount off the Regular registration fee ... and if you aren't already a member, you can join now and still save $40!  We suggest you register early — space is limited.

About registration fees

Please understand that these workshops are not possible without the revenue obtained from registration fees. If you are a presenter, you (and anyone you invite to take part in a session, if you are proposing one) must register for the workshop and pay the applicable registration fee. We are seeking outside funding to underwrite travel stipends for Indigenous participants. If you are an Indigenous person and would like to be considered for such assistance, please let us know in the Special Instructions box on the registration form. If such stipends become available, we’ll let you know.

Registration fees include:

  • Attendance at all workshop sessions and events

  • AM/PM refreshment breaks

  • Receptions

  • Priority consideration to share your work in our open-access journal, Parks Stewardship Forum

Registration fees do not include:

  • Meals/refreshments other than those listed above

  • Field trips (optional; most require an additional fee)

  • Parking (parking options and fees TBA)

Fee schedule will be announced May 15

Lower Earlybird rates will apply through August 1. Registration options are:

  • Regular Registration

  • Discounted George Wright Society Members Rate (Not a member? You can join GWS now or at the time you register.)

  • Full-time Students

Lab Paks. We want to encourage professors who oversee park-related research labs to attend and bring along their students, so we have created Lab Paks: all-in-one package deals that include registrations and one-year GWS memberships for profs and students alike.
