UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA, MISSOULA
October 20–23, 2025

Registration is now open! Register by August 1 and save!
We look forward to seeing you in Missoula! The workshop registration form is at the bottom of this page. Note that current GWS members get a $100 discount off the Regular registration fee ... and if you aren't already a member, you can join now and still save $40! We suggest you register early — space is limited and all registration fees increase by $50 starting on August 1.
About registration fees
Please understand that these workshops are not possible without the revenue obtained from registration fees. If you are a presenter, you (and anyone you invite to take part in a session, if you are proposing one) must register for the workshop and pay the applicable registration fee. We are seeking outside funding to underwrite travel stipends for Indigenous participants. If you are an Indigenous person and would like to be considered for such assistance, please let us know in the Special Instructions box on the form. If such stipends become available, we’ll let you know.
Registration fees include:
-
Attendance at all workshop sessions and events
-
AM/PM refreshment breaks
-
Receptions
-
Priority consideration to share your work in our open-access journal, Parks Stewardship Forum
Registration fees do not include:
-
Meals/refreshments other than those listed above
-
Field trips (optional; most require an additional fee)
-
Parking on campus at the University Conference Center (a limited number of parking passes will be available for $35, good for the four days of the workshop; you can sign up when you register)
Fee schedule (remember, these are Earlybird rates ... fees will increase by $50 starting August 1)

New! Introducing Lab Paks. We want to encourage professors who oversee park-related research labs to attend and bring along their students, so we have created Lab Paks: all-in-one package deals that include registrations and one-year GWS memberships for profs and students alike.
