Former U.S. Interior Secretary and REI board member Sally Jewell has been tapped as interim CEO of The Nature Conservancy, after resignations of top brass and a law firm's critical report on its work environment for women.
Jewell will take her post on Sept. 3. The appointment follows the resignation Friday of Nature Conservancy CEO Mark Tercek, a week after he asked for the resignation of Conservancy president Brian McPeek. Its Caribbean director exited last week.
