Court denies company bid to revisit revocation of permit for James River power line

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied Dominion Energy’s request for a rehearing on the court’s March 1 ruling to vacate the Surry-Skiffes Creek transmission line permit Friday.

The denial means the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia will now consider whether the permit can remain in place while an environmental impact statement is prepared.
